#CHOOSE2BMORE

ABOUT

Many of us know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions we take. The purpose of the #CHOOSE2BMORE campaign is to foster collaboration and social awareness about the way we encourage girls to be anything and do anything.

This campaign is here to provide focus on working together with parents, schools, universities, companies big & small, Governments and other NPO's to discuss strategies and design initiatives that are inclusive for girls and boys, teenagers and beyond to see it as normal for women's aspirations of doing anything to be achievable.

By working together we can overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch #CHOOSE2BMORE.

THE 'WHY, WHAT' & HOW'

Girls doing more is a brighter future for all of us.

WHY When girls are engaged in all the opportunities that boys might have for future careers & life opportunities; Human Innovation, Human Development and the world around us can be doubly enriched.

WHAT As parents, aunts and uncles, teachers, siblings, carers and fellow humans, the language and actions we use to inspire our children changes depending on gender. What if our levels of appetite for risky play and encouragement to learn that we so generously show for our boys was equaled for our girls. Encouraging bravery regardless of gender and instilling a sense of security to be adventurous can foster great innovation that will create a brighter future for all of us  boys and girls together for better.

HOW – Collaborating with educators of all forms and levels of life, big companies, small companies, parents groups and governments - we can come together to create a movement to allow girls to be more; and for boys to see it as normal! Girls need parents, coaches, teachers & bosses to encourage them to take risks and chase dreams that are important to the girls, not to the adults.

When the World Economic Forum released a report stating that on current efforts gender parity could be reached in 208 years, we were inspired to make a change.

If half the worlds available workforce is encouraged and supported to feel free and confident that they will be rewarded equally for their efforts, knowledge and opinion then the future is brighter for all of us, male and female alike.
